A longer kickstart lever, revised kick-gear ratios, updated
decompression system and new exhaust camshaft (all high-
lighted in yellow) are intended to improve starting ability.
Showa’s SFF triple-chamber air fork is borrowed technology
from the race team. It is supposed to deliver better feel and
offer infinite adjustability. It’s also nearly 2-1/2 pounds lighter
than a conventional spring fork system.
2015 Suzuki RM-Z450: After blind neglect
last year, Suzuki upped the ante for 2015.
Although not completely overhauled, Suzuki
addressed numerous complaints. What’s
new on the 2015 RM-Z450? (1) The Showa
SFF triple-chamber air fork replaces Showa’s
SFF single-spring design. ( 2) Holeshot Assist
Control technology is standard. ( 3) Suzuki
focused on ease of starting.
