REMOVE A 2016 KTM SHOCK
Step five: Move to the left side of the bike and remove
the lower chain slider pad. Its bolt is attached to the
front shock linkage bolt.
Step eight: A friend
may have to lift the
rear wheel up to allow
you to get the shock
far enough down to be
able to rotate the
Step six: Pull the front shock linkage bolt out and let
the linkage swing rearward.
Step nine: After some wrestling, pull the shock out
through the gap between the swingarm and airbox.
Step seven: With the linkage out of the way, lower the
shock down into the swingarm as far as it will go.
Step ten: With
the shock out you
can remove the
system. All aftermarket pipes are
three pieces and
can be removed
the shock off.
