Villopoto would have trouble adapting
to the travel, food, weather and lifestyle and lose the championship.
And, by having Cairoli, Desalle, Paulin
or Nagl beat him, it would be the
surgical cut that elevated the FIM
World Championships over the AMA
National and Supercross series in the
eyes of the men who might open
their pocketbooks even wider for
Youthstream’s product. Of course, if
Villopoto came to Europe and won
the World Championship, Youthstream
would have pulled a major gaffe. You
gotta love a gambler.
For Villopoto, it’s just a paycheck.
