VERDICT: This is five-star product for a backyard
engineer who loves to fine-tune his bike. For MXA’s
tastes, grooving is better than vertical cutting. Grooves
provide extra edges for acceleration and braking. The
Sniper kit does a great job.

THINK TECHNOLOGIES LITE SEAT
The factory teams have been using these ultra-light
seats for several years. Now they are available to the
public. Kudos to Think.
VERDICT: Our stock 2014 KTM seat foam weighed
1 pound. The Think KTM seat foam weighed 3 ounces.
The Think foam was 13 ounces lighter. You read that
right! Although Think Lite foam is expensive at $260, it
is cheap when compared to how much it would cost in
titanium bolts to save that much weight.

a 10 is really a 10. The lining is plush, especially around

NEKEN SFS AIR TRIPLE CLAMP
The Neken SFS air triple clamps are totally unique.
At first glance, the clamp looks conventional. But close
examination reveals that the bar mount bolts have been
replaced with miniature aluminum air shocks. The Neken
air shocks have 10mm of adjustable suspension travel.
VERDICT: Every test rider loved the Neken SFS
triple clamps. They were amazingly absorbent. We
experimented with pressures from 60 psi to 80 psi.
They are heavier than stock, and the air pressure has to
be checked every day, but, given our druthers, of every
top triple clamp made, this would be our first choice.
