TIME TO COMPLETE:
Adjust the clutch-lever free play and determine
whether the clutch is engaging properly. Make sure that
the brakes are in proper working order. Also, inspect the
brake pads and fix any part of the brake system that is
leaking. Finally, check the throttle and make sure that it
rotates freely. ❏
Ensure that every part of the wheels that can be
tightened—spokes, rim locks, axles, rear sprocket—has
been set to the specified torque setting. Check the air
pressure in the tires and inspect for torn knobs, sidewall
cracks or wear.
It’s important to check shock sag, inspect the fork seals
for weepage, adjust the fork height for track conditions,
and bleed air out of the fork tubes or check fork air
pressure (if applicable).
