USED IT, ABUSED IT, MISUSED IT & LOVED IT
PROX LIGHTWEIGHT BRAKE
The ProX OEM lightweight replacement wave discs are
made of high-grade steel. These brake rotors are great for
the rider who needs to replace a bent or worn-out disc
without breaking the bank.
VERDICT: The ProX brake rotor comes individually
packaged, but we recommend cleaning the discs with
soap and water prior to installation. Additionally, you will
get better performance from new brake pads because they
will seat to the new rotor better than if you reuse your old

CYCRA FULL ARMOR YZ450F SKID
MXA has suffered both case and water-hose damage on
Yamahas in the past. Yamahas come stock with a small
plastic guard for the water pump, but it is only sturdy
enough to ward off roost. The benefits of Cycra’s plastic
skid plate are that it is full-coverage, color-matched and
flexible enough not to drastically stiffen a bike’s frame.
VERDICT: Colors include blue and gold for Yamahas
(black and gray are also available for all Full Armor
skid plates), green for Kawasakis, blue and yellow for
Husqvarnas, yellow for Suzukis, red for Hondas and orange

VP RACING VPR RACE FUEL
VP Racing Fuel’s VPR blend is a 105-octane, leaded,
ethanol-free, oxygenated, two-stroke race fuel.
VERDICT: VPR is oxygenated, but not as much as U4.4
or MR12, so you don’t have to worry about temperature
changes affecting your jetting. VPR is a pour-in replacement for premium pump gas. VPR is leaded but has a
sister fuel called T4 that is unleaded for four-stroke use.
We love this fuel. It increases horsepower at every rpm
and performs consistently.

7602 RACING ADJUSTABLE KTM
7602 Racing makes KTM and Husqvarna brake tips that
are not only more aggressive but are adjustable in length
and tooth height.
VERDICT: Since KTM lengthened its brake pedal
10mm for 2017–2018 models, the 7602 brake pedal tips
turn a 2016-or-earlier brake pedal into a 2018 brake pedal.
The stainless steel cleats are threaded into the brake tip
at whatever height you prefer. The tips are available in
orange, blue or grey anodizing.
DIGITS: $34.95 (2004–2016 models), $39.95 (2017–2018
models)—(719) 274-0606 or
