for individual pieces.

WHAT STANDS OUT? Here’s a list of things that
stand out with the DeCal Works CRF250 plastics kit.
(1) Plastics. DeCal Works, long known for its customized graphics, has ventured into creating plastic. It’s a
match made in heaven, though increasing the product
line doesn’t come without sacrifice. MX Plastic, an offshoot of DeCal Works, was born after tireless months
of hard work sourcing replacement plastic for Honda,
Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, KTM and Husqvarna.
( 2) Options. There are a plethora of color options for
your trusty scooter. Take the CRF250 for example. The
front half of the bike is available in red, white or black
(front fender, front number plate, fork guards, shrouds).
The rear half (one-piece side panels and rear fender) is
offered in blue, yellow, red, white or black.
( 3) Pricing. DeCal Works offers a selection of
colors that aren’t sold anywhere else for a Honda—blue
and yellow. Furthermore, DeCal Works craftily designed
one-piece Honda side panels for easier mounting and a
cleaner look. One knock against the kit was that it didn’t
include lower fork guards. We talked to DeCal Works
about this oversight and they said that every kit will
come with fork guards from now on. That is an amazing
response—and one we weren’t prepared for.
( 4) Installation. We’re happy to report that we didn’t
encounter a single issue when installing the DeCal Works
Honda CRF250 plastic kit. Even better, the one-piece CRF
side panels made the installation easier.
( 5) Performance. The DeCal Works kit was slightly
heavier than the stock Honda CRF250 plastic, though
that’s not a complaint. The sturdiness made the DeCal
Works plastic more durable and less prone to cracking or
breaking. We recommend purchasing DeCal Works
preprinted numbers when ordering the plastics kit,
because they will put them on for free. No more bubbles.
WHAT’S THE SQUAWK? No complaints (largely
because they fixed our complaint about the fork guards
The MXA wrecking crew uses DeCal Works
preprinted numbers because they stand the
test of time. The same can be said for their new
plastics kit. This is great stuff.
