forks are low-friction-coated for
smoother shifting. Plus, a gear sensor

feature a CSS (Coil Spring Steel) clutch
with Magura hydraulics, while the
FC450 has a Dampened Diaphragm
Steel (DDS) clutch. The exclusive characteristics of the FC450 system include
a single Belleville-washer clutch spring
instead of traditional coil springs. The
FC450 clutch basket is a single-piece,
CNC-machined steel component.
Only the FC450 and TC250 get the Belleville
washer-controlled diaphragm clutch. The
FC250 and FC350 use a normal coil-spring
clutch, but still have Husqvarna’s durable
steel clutch basket. Clutch hydraulics are
handled by Magura.
